The past couple of months have brought some big changes, enough that it feels like the right time to take a short break from writing here. Nothing dramatic, just the kind of life shifts that deserve some room to breathe.
I’m getting ready to start a new position in early July as a Senior Systems Analyst and Administrator within state government. It is a meaningful step forward for me, and the work ahead looks both challenging and energizing. Preparing for the transition has taken much of my attention lately, especially as I shift deeper into the kind of leadership-focused IT work I’ve been aiming toward.
At the same time, I’ve moved to a different part of the city. It is still home, just with a new view and a new set of streets to learn. Between packing, unpacking, and getting settled, the weeks have gone by quickly.
Because of all this, I’m pressing pause on new posts for a little while. My plan is to return with fresh material around the start of the new year, once I have my feet firmly under me again. There’s a lot I’m looking forward to exploring when I’m back.
